Blind Faith

Commissioned for The Drop Project; a crate, a parachute and a parachute net ‘dropped’ by aircraft, as imagined relief supplies. The video shows Alan Smith's work: 180,000 bees in three hives with amplified sound.

'Dropped' in the rundown ruins of a once thriving industrial town, bees can go out searching for goodness and return to create sweetness.
