Flagellum



"The flagellum refers to the constant awareness of an inadequacy, I’m doing what I can but look at what I am having to live up to. Of course in religion the Flagellum scourges the flesh and purifies the soul but actually in this case it’s a way of saying, look at all this that has gone before, look how beautiful it is, how can any of us ever better any of that?"
